어렸을 적 엄마가 뒷마당 텃밭에 가서 풋고추나 파를 한번 먹을 양만큼만 뜯어 와서 송송 썰어 맛있는 국을 끓여 주시던 추억에서 비롯된 아이디어입니다.
아일랜드 조리대의 싱크볼 앞에 작은 텃밭을 만들었습니다. 새싹보리나 허브, 파 등을 심어서 요리할 때 즉석에서 채취하여 요리에 사용할 수 있습니다. 배수가 싱크 배수와 연결되어 있기에 물주기도 용이할 뿐만 아니라 오랫동안 여행을 떠날 때도 물이 공급되는 장치도 숨겨져 있습니다.
식물을 키우기 싫어지면 식기 건조대와 수납용으로 사용해도 됩니다. 도마나 쟁반 등을 꽂아놓는 수납으로 사용해도 됩니다. 식물 기르는 장치는 꺼내면 화분으로도 변신하게 됩니다.
